The Livestock Exchange ballroom is the new location for Tuesday evening classes. Doors will open at 6:15 pm, no food or drinks will be available, please bring your beverage with you.
Our group began in the early 90's due to a
fluke. Deb and Gary were dance instructors and had been at a dance with a
group of students. There was a guest star Scooter Lee
performing.
She was going around the room asking everyone what there group
name was and we
had none. A student very quickly said we need a name and
came up with the Guys & Dolls. The funny thing was by time she got to
our side of the room we weren't asked.
We've been The Country Dancin' Guys
& Dolls ever since. To join, we have no dues and no officers.
That's why we call ourselves a group and not a club.
We are very
proud of our group participation which is very high. We have classes ,
monthly birthday parties, workshops, demonstrations, trips, holiday parties, and
lots of fun dances!
We have a variety of dancing from country to ballroom, to Latin. We have singles and couples dancing to a huge variety of music.
